Milton, Ga. — After highly physical game play, the Lady Bears fell 3-1 to the Pope Greyhounds at home on Friday, March 15, putting the Bears' defense to the test.

The Greyhounds scored after a 20-minute battle in the first half.  A series of corner kicks by the Greyhounds proved to be challenge, but the Bears held their ground. With 14 minutes left, Delaney Goodell answered back with an assist from Hannah Behner, tying the game 1-1 at the half.

The Greyhounds scored early in the second half with a breakaway, 2-1. A series of corner kicks transpired with Pope scoring again, 3-1, to win the game with 9 minutes to go. 

The Lady Bears are away at the Northview Titans on Tuesday, March 19.
