Varsity Boys Tennis Win First Round in State Playoffs on Senior Day, Tuesday, April 19th

The Cambridge Bears Boys tennis team scored an easy win over Druid Hills in a 3-0 close out on a day that the seniors were recognized.

In an unusual match, Druid Hills forfeited the 3 singles and 2 doubles lines. With an early win at line 2 singles from Drew Fruehauf, the Bears move on to the second round of the state playoffs.

Three seniors were also recognized on Senior Day; Zac Hirschler, Carson Harrell and Kez Fitzgerald.  All 3 seniors are 4 years starters and Coach Feldman shared some of their sentiments of their time over the last 4 years.  All expressed their gratitude in one way or another for being part of great teams over the years and sharing some very successful seasons.

Next up for the Bears will be either Richmond Academy HS or Coffee HS in a home match that will take place sometime between Thursday, April 21st and Tuesday, April 26th.

Go Bears!
