Cambridge Boys Varsity tennis stayed on the winning track Tuesday, March 1st, posting a 5-0 region victory against Forsyth Central, squeezing in the match before the Tuesday evening storms.
All three singles lines won in straight sets. Drew Fruehauf won at the 1 singles line. Josh Wills won at 2 singles and Ryan Edmiston (3S) held off a late rally by his opponent in the second set to gain the win.
Wins were also secured at both doubles lines. Kez Fitzgerald and Jason Weiner (1S) were winners in 2 sets, taking the net effectively and finishing points. Yarik Apolkov and Grayson Marler made quick work of their opponents for the win at 2 doubles.
