Cambridge Boys Varsity Tennis Drop Close Match to Blessed Trinity in Season Opener

Cambridge Boys Varsity Tennis Drop Close Match to Blessed Trinity in Season Opener

In the opening match of the 2015 Men's Tennis season, the Cambridge Bears battled a very strong Titans team and came up just short (3-2) in some great matches as daylight expired.

The 1 Doubles line of David Ashcom & Brenner Lapid showed tremendous grit in coming back in the second set to win their match.

The 2 Doubles team of Grant Hollingsworth and Jason Weiner rolled their opponents to win easily.

The singles lines of Drew Fruehauf, Joey Ladaga, and Ryan Edmiston all played extremely hard but eventually lost to some very skilled Titan singles players.  The Edmiston match was especially close with some great points that could have turned the match either way.

Next up for the Bears is an important away match against a strong Johns Creek team on Tuesday Feb 17th.

Come out and support the your Cambridge Bears Mens Tennis team on Thursday February 19 at 4pm as they are back home against Chattahoochee.

Go Bears!
