Cambridge Varsity Men's Tennis Earn First Region Wins

The Cambridge Men's Tennis team won two region matches last week.  The 4-1 away win against Riverwood came on Tuesday, February 25th.  Cambridge had victories at 2 singles lines with Drew Freuhauf & Zac Hirschler and both doubles line with Kez Fitzgerald/Jack Armstrong and Kaivon Mohseni/Brenner Lapid.

The victory put win number one in the region schedule on the board for the Bears.
 

The Bears delivered the second region win, 5-0, at home against Creekview on Thursday, February 27th. All 3 singles lines of Michael Feirer, David Ashcom, and Zac Hirschler won convincingly.  Fitzgerald/Armstrong and Lapid/Mohseni delivered equally dominating wins.

 
The win against Creekview brings the Bears' region record to 2-0.  This is a big week for the Men's Tennis program.  The team is away at Kell on Tuesday, March 4, hosts Osborne on Thursday, March 6,  and away for a makeup match against Northview on Friday, March 7.
