Bears vs. Blessed Trinity - Thurs. Feb. 20th

The Bears men's tennis team lost a close battle to a very talented Blessed Trinity team 3-2 on Thursday, Feb. 20th.

Ashcomb/Frierer and Fitzgerald/Armstrong won hard fought matches at the doubles lines but the singles lines of Freuhauf, Hirschler & Harrell (W) could not pull out victories to push the Bears over the finish line.  Especially tough was Carson Harrell's match with injury forcing him to withdraw after winning the first set.

The loss moves the Bears record to 2-2.  Next week's matches mark the beginning of region play.   Cambridge goes up against Riverwood (away) on 2/26 (Wed.) and then home on 2/27 (Thurs.) vs. Creekview.  Note that when the Men's team is away,  the women's team is at home and vice versa.

Come out and support the Bears tennis program  next week!
