The Cambridge High School Boys golf team qualified for the GHSA State Championship by winning the 5-AAAAA State Sectional with a record breaking one over par 285 performance and defeated 15 teams at Georgia National Golf Club on Monday, May 2nd.
The team was led by Senior Sutton Dunwoodie and Junior Brad Plaziak who both shot one under par 70, Senior Austin Redick 72 and Sophomore Andrew Ackerman 73. Freshmen Jack Vajda shot 78, and Junior Robbie Bentley 81.
The team will defend its State Championship title on Monday, May 16th at Bartram Trail in Augusta.
