Cambridge 24, Riverwood 13
Another big win for Cambridge!
Cambridge faced off against Riverwood for a huge region game.
Cambridge Quarterback Zach Harris got on the board with the first score of the game after a 4 yard touchdown run. The Cambridge defense started off strong as well with a forced fumble by senior Christian Vanderford. McCall Bennett added to the lead with a 22 yard field goal. Before the half Riverwood put together an impressive drive and finished with a last second touchdown.
Senior defensive back Graham Browning began the second half with a huge interception to give Cambridge the ball back. Quarterback Zach Harris then proceeded to throw a touchdown pass to sophomore Jack Marlow to make the score 17-7.
Riverwood and Cambridge ended the game trading touchdowns with the final touchdown by Cambridge's senior running back Phillip-Michael Collins.
The game ended with a final score of 24-13 for back to back wins at home for the Bears.
