Cambridge Varsity Football Hits the Road Friday, Oct. 31st

On Friday October 31, the Region 7B AAAAA passing yards stats leader, QB Brian Moore (1734 yards) and receiving stats leaders, Hunter Smith (704 yards) and John Hurst (626 yards) will lead the Cambridge varsity football team against the Forsyth Central Bulldogs on their home field in Cumming, Georgia.

The Bears head into this game, as they come off 2 strong wins (64-7 over North Springs at Homecoming and 35-17 over Riverwood). Our Cambridge Bears are now positioned to solidify a playoff position with a victory over the Bulldogs.  Coming into this game, the 6-2 Bears had already previously established their first winning season in school history.

The Bulldogs come into the game with some momentum as well.  Their 49-21 win last week over North Springs earned them their best record since 2008!  Led by sophomore Shaun Diebel and junior Sabrian Howard, the Bulldogs rushed for 208 yards combined in the second half in last week's victory.  A victory tonight could also signify a trip to the playoffs for the Bulldogs.

Come out early on Halloween to tailgate and cheer on your Cambridge Bears in the final regular season game.

Forsyth Central High School is located at 520 Tribble Gap Rd. Cumming, GA 30040.

Game time is 7:30 p.m.

Go Bears!
