Please mark your calendars for October 29th, 2014 for the Cambridge Athletic Association ("CAA") Annual Member Meeting. The meeting will be held at 6:00pm in the CHS Theater. All CAA Members, including all Team Booster Club Officers, are strongly encouraged to attend.

- Updates on our Cambridge athletic teams
- General CAA Update
- Review and Approval of the 2014-15 Budget
We will also be approving the CAA Nominating Committee Report detailing the new board members and officers for the 2014-2015 year.
The Nominating Committee consists of the following individuals:

Recommended New Board Members:
Name: Margaret W. Townsend
Margaret has a 10th grade son attending Cambridge High School and a 6th grade son at Hopewell Middle School. Margaret will be involved with CHS through 2021. Margaret is interested in serving on the CAA board in order to support the school community and help grow the athletic programs for future years. With Cambridge High School being in its infancy, she is excited about the opportunities that all of our students have to participate in a wide variety sports throughout the school year.
Name: Douglas Edman
Doug has a 9th grade son attending Cambridge High School. He has had a lifetime love affair with athletics. Doug, has an interest in supporting the function of the CAA Board. Doug has experience playing individual and team sports as well as coaching kids and adult team sports. He sat for three years on the Finance committee of a local YMCA Board of Directors in Encinitas, California before moving to Atlanta. Further, he has worked in the financial services industry for the past 24 years. Doug has two older children attending college.
Name: Mark Wilson
Mark has a 9th grade daughter attending Cambridge High School and is committed to the success and growth of the Cambridge Athletic Association and all the programs at Cambridge High School. He is excited about the opportunity and is strongly interested in serving on the CAA Board of Directors. Mark is very experienced in budget development and strategy, and financial planning. As the CEO of a not-for-profit organization, he knows how to balance a tight budget and forecast expenditures in an uncertain market.
Name: Larry W. Covington
Larry has a 9th grade grandson attending Cambridge High School and a 7th grade granddaughter attending Hopewell Middle School. Larry has lived in North Fulton Area all of his adult life and has participated in all sports activities of his children as they grew up in the community and would like to continue to help in the sports activities of his grandchildren's sports activities as they grow up. Larry has a background in finance and accounting.
