Tonight's home football game against the Creekview Grizzlies is another chance for the Cambridge Bears to be competitive. Creekview comes in at 4-2 but several of those wins have been close games. Last week's win against Northview was 35-28. They are not an overly dominant team although they lead the 7AAAAA Region A division.
Cambridge comes in off a solid 14-0 win over Forsyth Central in a game with no consequential fumbles by the Bears.
Creekview has a solid defense with 2 strong seniors in #25, Fahrnbauer, and #38 Sorrentino, but they don't have a Josh Kania, a strong defender, who leads the Bears in sacks. Statistics show Bears with 16 sacks on the season and Creekview has only 8. The Grizzlies QB has thrown ten interceptions this season so the Bear's Zeke Gormley will be looking to add to that total.
Come cheer on the Bears as they go after another big win and show your support to cure Breast Cancer in tonight's 'Pink-Out'. The Bears are 2-0 at home, so let's make some noise as they go for win number 3 with home field advantage.
Game time is 7:30pm.
