Bears Fall to Sequoyah, 42-0

Bears Fall to Sequoyah, 42-0

The Cambridge Bears suffered another football loss to Sequoyah Friday, November 2nd, 42-0.  JD White had another solid night in rushing but could not post any points on the board.  Kevin Little completed a 45 yd touchdown pass to Jordan Sloter which was called back on an illegal motion penalty.  Sophomore Garrett Walton and freshman Trey Wolfe figured in heavily with some stellar tackles,  but the Chiefs' Brian Ingleton couldn't be stopped.  Senior Ryan Callahan's visible determination made him a dominant Bear player offensively and defensively.

The final game for the Bears is Friday, 11/9, against the Osborne Cardinals in Marietta.  Previously when the Bears lost to Osborne, it was a close score of 20-0.  Osborne has the same record as Cambridge with 1 win and 8 losses. They had a strong game last Friday losing 23-17 to Sprayberry.  This should be a close match-up, and if Cambridge brings out its best efforts, the team could close the season with its second win.

Fan support is greatly appreciated by the Bears players, so come out and cheer them on!  The game is at Osborne High School, 2451 Favor Road, SW, Marietta, GA.

GO BEARS!!
