On Friday night 9/11/15, our region 7B-AAAAA Cambridge Bears face the Region 7A-AAAAA Rome Wolves at Bear stadium in non-conference play.
The Bears enter the contest after an open week with a 2-0 record while the Wolves come in at 1-1 after a 48-44 season opening away win against the Villa Rica Wildcats and dropping a home game last week to the Newton Rams 35-33.
Last year, the Bears visited the Wolves and came out on top winning by a 38-21 score. We can expect another hard fought game this year in Bear country. The Wolves introduced new head coach John Reid this year and while his team is relatively inexperienced, our Bears under the direction of head coach Craig Bennett and staff still look to continue the balanced play exhibited thus far to come out victorious.
