Lady Bears Volleyball Closes Out Regional Play with Wins over North Atlanta, Sprayberry, Tues, Sept. 29th

The Lady Bears Varsity Volleyball team began the week with two regional away matches, taking on the North Atlanta Warriors and the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets.

The Lady Bears defeated both teams in straight sets Tuesday, Sept. 29th, beating the Warriors, 25-10 and 25-17, then closing the evening with a win against the Yellow Jackets, 25-9 and 25-14.

Tuesday night's victories leave the Lady Bear's undefeated this season in regional play (6-0) and in an enviable position to come away with a strong seed for the 2015 Regional Tournament. 

Thursday night, October 1st, the Lady Bears headed into Raider country where they were defeated by Walton in straight sets (12-25, 12-25, 19-25). The Lady Bears are now 20-8 on the season. 

The team will finish regular season play this weekend, October 2nd & 3rd at Blessed Trinity Serve for the Cure tournament.

The regional tournament begins next Tuesday, October 6th. Your Bears will compete at River Ridge High School and at home on Thursday, October 8th.
