JV Volleyball Rises to Occasion at Tournament

The Ladies JV Volleyball team had a good showing at the Georgia Challenge Tournament against North Cobb, Marietta, Fellowship, and Pope.

During the second match against Marietta, the Bears won in the third game with the scores of 25-22, 22-25 and 15-11.  Freshman Brenna Ediger led the offensive attack with 6 kills while freshman Abby Bryan impressed the crowd with 5 digs.

The highly experienced Pope team proved to be too much, but the dedicated Bears pushed them to a third game before falling.  Cambridge came out strong in the first game with a 25-21 win, then fell 19-25 and 11-15.  In this significant battle, freshman Hailey Boutelle accumulated 8 digs, while freshman Madeline Geer tallied 4 kills.

The JV Volleyball team will participate in another tournament next weekend at the Southern Volleyball Center.
