The Cambridge Volleyball and Sports Club decided to take on an extremely worthwhile project this year, and now they are learning what it truly means to make a difference in the lives of young people and those who are less fortunate.

During the busy two-week shoe drive, the CHS volleyball teams collected enough shoes to cover the feet of 41 soccer teams!!!  The club collected over 11-hundred dollars as part of the fundraising effort.

The team collected used sneakers for Project Sole and came close to gathering the goal of 1,000 pairs of shoes which were later sent to families in Ghana, a country in West Africa.

The Lady Bears would like to thank the Cambridge community for supporting this effort.
