Lady Bears Volleyball Fall to Creekview, Central Forsyth

Lady Bears Volleyball Fall to Creekview, Central Forsyth

The Lady Bears took on Creekview and Central Forsyth last night; two tough Area opponents. The first match against Creekview started off somewhat slow. Both teams were making numerous errors but after the dust was shaken off it proved to be a pretty good fight. Despite Freshman Eileen Hardy's attacking numbers of .250, the Lady Grizzlies snagged a win over the Bears in just two sets.

The second match of the night against Central forsyth was an all out battle. In the second set it was the Bears' effort and determination that pushed them to a win. The Bears' duo of Middle Blockers took charge when Senior Samantha Wardach went on an outstanding 8 point serving run including one ace. Senior Amelia Phillips hit a career high .800 with five attacks and four kills, four solo blocks and one block assist to lead the Bears to a thrilling third game.  Unfortunately, after a valiant effort, the Bears fell in the third game to the Lady Bulldogs.

Cambridge will travel to Milton High School Thursday afternoon to take on Mountain View at 5:00pm and Milton at 6:00pm.
