Lady Bears Volleyball Win over First Presbyterian, 25-11 & 25-21

Lady Bears Volleyball Win over First Presbyterian, 25-11 & 25-21

The Lady Bears traveled across the street to Kings Ridge to play the home team as well as First Presbyterian Day.  In the first match against the Tigers of Kings Ridge, the Bears knew they were in for a good fight.  Kings Ridge cam out strong offensively and the Bears worked to defend.  Libero Annie Jackson led the way with eight digs for the match.  The Lady Bears challenged the Tigers with their serving hitting a 93% for the match.  Unfortunately they could not pull it out in the end.  Kings Ridge took both games 25-20 and 25-23.

First Presbyterian Day was next up for the Bears.  As the ladies stepped on the court they were hungry for a win.  In the first game, the Bears hit a total .381 and .125 in the second.  Senior Amelia Phillips tacked on a block in the second game to push the Bears into a lead.  After a hard battle, the Bears snagged a win for the night.

Next week the Bears have a very busy schedule playing Creekview and Forsyth Central at Creekview on Tuesday, another home game on Wednesday against Centennial, and Mountain View and Milton at Milton on Thursday.  Show support for your Lady Bears!  Go Cambridge!
