Lady Bears Volleyball fall to North Springs, Kell in 1st Home Contest

It was an exciting night as the Lady Bears challenged North Springs and Kell in their very first home game on Tuesday.  After honoring Howard and Robin May, sponsors of the match, the game was under way.

First up was the intense and talented North Springs.  Junior Libero, Annie Jackson played a solid passing role and tallied a 2.32 in serve receive for both sets.  Freshman Outside Hitter, Eileen Hardy led the Bears offensively in the second set hitting a consistent .333.  The Bears put up a good fight but eventually fell in two sets to the Spartans.

It was a quick turnaround for the second match of the evening as the Bears took on the Longhorns of Kell.  Freshman Setter Madison Ulman worked her offensive game and attacked .500 in the first set while Freshman Outside Hitter Alex Wright handled the passing with a 2.24 in serve receive.

The Bears will travel across the street on Thursday, September 27 to play Kings Ridge and First Presbyterian Day.  Matches start at 5:00 and 6:00.

Come out and support your Lady Bears!
