The Bears took on Dunwoody and Johns Creek on Wednesday night in a pair of tough matches. First up was familiar opponent, Dunwoody. Just last week the Bears took on Dunwoody at Blessed Trinity and walked away with a win. Unfortunately, this meeting ending differently. After a neck and neck battle, Dunwoody came out on top in both games, 25-15 & 25-15. However, it was an impressive match for Freshman Outside Hitter, Alex Wright, who hit a whopping .750 for both sets. Junior Annie Jackson held strong in serve receive passing a cumulative 2.54 for the match.
As the Bears head into the next match, they were hungry for a victory. In both games, Freshman Madison Ulman led the defense with a total of five digs against a ruthless Johns Creek offense. Despite the effort put forth by the entire team, the Bears fell in two sets, 25-13 & 25-3.
The Lady Bears will host the first ever Varsity Volleyball game on Tuesday September 25 in the main gym. The first game starts at 5:30 against North Springs and 6:30 against Kell.
