Wright, Paganelli, Ulman lead Lady Bears to Victory over Sprayberry

The Ladies Varsity Volleyball team had a great night of highly competitive play taking on Sprayberry and Pope.  In the first match against Sprayberry, Freshman Outside Hitter Alex Wright led the effort offensively with seven kills.  Sophomore Right Side Lexie Paganelli accumulated four kills.  Freshman Madison Ulman dished up seventeen assists.  The team executed a fluid game and displayed clear improvements in the defensive realm.  Junior Annie Jackson was a strong asset in the back row with nine digs while Junior Defensive Specialist Jaclyn Krantzler passed a 2.2 in serve receive.  Emotions were high as the Bears took the match with impressive scores of 25-17 in the first game and 25-19 in the second.

The Pope Greyhounds put up a solid competition for the Bears in the second match of the night.  Cambridge showed a ruthless effort throughout the game but it wasn't enough to beat the highly ranked Pope team.  Despite the Bears' touches on blocks the Greyhounds' offense was just too much for Cambridge.  They ended up taking the match in two games.

Tomorrow night the Bears head to Blessed Trinity to take on the Dunwoody Wildcats at 5:00pm and the Titans of Blessed Trinity at 6:00pm.

The JV Bears Volleyball team will compete in the first ever Home game tonight at 5:00pm against Fellowship Christian and 7:00pm against Kings Ridge.

Come out and show support for your Bears!
