The Cambridge Lady Bears varsity volleyball team is fresh off its first win of the season, beating Osborne high school in two sets, both 25-8.
Freshman Madison Ulman attacked with 5 aces and 2 kills. Senior Amelia Phillips showed the power of the front line with 4 kills and 1 block. Eileen Hardy, also a freshman, had an outstanding 4 kills.
The Lady Bears also played Sequoyah Tuesday night and despite outstanding effort, fell to Sequoyah in both sets. Freshman Alex Wright attacked with 3 kills and had 3 digs, while Madison Ulman had 2 kills and 2 digs.
The Lady Bears head into matches against North Forsyth and Duluth tomorrow night (Thursday, Sept. 6.) at 6pm and 7pm at North Forsyth.
