Cambridge boys and girls varsity tennis teams competed in the Atlanta Athletic Club Mixed Doubles Tournament on March 18-19.

 

On Friday, March 18, to accommodate for the rain, we played 6 lines of mixed doubles in AAC's indoor courts and each line played a 5-game set. The Bears defeated Alpharetta 5-1.

 

On Saturday, we resumed the typical format of the tournament playing 7 lines of mixed doubles and each line playing an 8-game pro-set. At noon on Saturday, we took on West Forsyth and beat them 4-3.

 

Then we played Walton for the tournament championship. We won in a nail-biting 4-3 victory with all 4 of our winning lines going into tie-breakers to win their sets.
