Cambridge Wrestling Reigns at Fulton County Championships, Jan. 3-4th. 2020

It was difficult to deny which team was most outstanding on January 3rd and 4th at the Fulton County Championships hosted by Milton High School.  The Cambridge Wrestling Bears picked up another first place trophy with a total of 265 team points.  Eleven teams from Fulton County participated in the event and Milton High School was the closest competitor with 126 team points and 8 wrestlers taking home medals of their own.

All thirteen wrestling Bears brought home medals.  First place:  Cullen Kane (113), Kyle Romano (145), Brenden Boyd (160), Evan Kurtz (170), Michael Hudson (195), Connor McHugh (220).  Second place:  Jason Romano (120), Nick Barton (152), Julian Petty (285).  Third place:  Mason Truncale (106), Mikolai Baron (126).  Fourth place:  Andrew Kochman (132), Jake Guida (138).

The Wrestling Bears are headed into state qualification season and you can watch the Bears in action on Wednesday, January 8 at Cambridge High School and Saturday, January 11 at the Region Duals hosted by Pope High School.  If you can't attend in person you can watch via Facebook Live streaming via the team's Facebook page.
