Cambridge Wrestling Continues Domination in Season Opener, Saturday, Nov. 16th

The Cambridge High School Wrestling Bears were back in action on Saturday, November 16 at the Iron Branch Dual Tournament hosted by Flowery Branch High School.  Sixteen area teams participated in this event but it was Cambridge that walked away with the first-place trophy!

It was a tough competition but experience looks to be an asset for the Bears, who return eight state qualifiers and four state placers from last year, along with the number one Senior wrestler in the State of Georgia.

The Bears were impressive as they plowed through the competition defeating Kell, North Gwinnett, South Gwinnett, East Hall and Lambert High Schools.  Wrestlers that went undefeated in the Dual were:  Mason Truncale, Cullen Kane, Andrew Kochman, Sebastian Shered, Brenden Boyd, Gavin Kane, Mike Hudson and Connor McHugh.  The win was dedicated to Head Coach Don St. James who is recovering from surgery.
