Cambridge Wrestling Wins First Ever Dual at State Championships

The Cambridge Bears Wrestling Team came out on top over Lanier High School in their first ever dual match at the GHSA Wrestling State Championships held in Macon Georgia on January 17-19! 

In the quarterfinal round of competition Cambridge fell to Alexander High School who finished the weekend as the AAAAAA second place team. 

Over the next few weekends individual Bear wrestlers will be competing regionally and at sectionals to earn spots in the upcoming GHSA Traditional Wrestling State Championships to be held in Macon on February 13-16.

You can catch Cambridge Bears Wrestling action on January 25 at Lovett High School and again on February 2 at Cambridge High School when they host Traditional Region for State qualification.
