Lady Bears Varsity Lacrosse Team Trumps South Forsyth – Extends Streak to 7-0

The Cambridge Lady Bears varsity lacrosse team beat South Forsyth High School 19-12 in a tightly played game on Thursday, March 14 at Cambridge Stadium.

This extended the Lady Bears' winning streak to 7-0. In addition, on Tuesday, March 13, the Lady Bears won easily over North Springs High School in an 18-0 shutout. 

To date the Lady Bears have played the following games:
2/21 – Bears win 16-4 over Wheeler High School
2/26 – Bears win 20-7 over Riverwood High School
3/2 – Bears win 13-11 over Girls Prepatory School (Chattanooga, TN)
3/4 – Bears win 21-5 over Norcross High School
3/7 - Bears win 22-2 over Central Forsyth High School
3/12 – Bears win 18-0 over North Springs High School
3/14 – Bears win 19–12 over South Forsyth High School

"I am proud of the way the girls have played so far this season, but we still have some tough games ahead of us," said Pam Masinko, Head Coach of the Lady Bears Varsity Lacrosse team.  "The girls are pulling together as a team, and we're looking forward to the rest of our season."

The team is looking to extend its winning streak this Friday, March 22nd as they travel to Blessed Trinity High School to play at 5:00pm.
