The Cambridge Lady Bears Varsity Lacrosse team dominated Norcross High School with a final score of 21-5 on Monday evening, March 4 and extended its winning streak to 4 –0. Monday nights' win was on the heels of a weekend trip to Chattanooga, TN. where the Lady Bears triumphed in a tight 13-11 game against Girls Prepatory School (GPS).

Coached by Pam Masinko, the Lady Bears Varsity Lacrosse team kicked off its highly successful inaugural season with a victory over Wheeler 16-4 on Feb. 21. They extended their winning streak to 2-0 on Feb. 26 beating Riverwood High School with a score of 20-7 on Feb. 26.

"Our motto, 'Team One, One Team' has been taken to heart by every player," says Pam Masinko, Head Coach of the Lady Bears. It's a very special group of girls willing to give everything they have for the betterment of the team."

The Cambridge Lady Bears Varsity roster includes 19 players, the majority of whom are freshmen. Members of the Lady Bears Lacrosse include: Melissa Birdsell, Claire Brown, Caroline Christ, Virginia Gibson, Sarah Gold, Chloe Gruca, Kelly Hagerty, Jillyan Haight, Lauren Head, Lauren Holliday, Claire McCool, Tara MacMillan, Lily Nye, Holly Ragsdale, Taylor Sanna, Hannah Sisson, Madison Smith, Caroline Strader and Lily Valeo.

The Lady Bears hope to make their winning streak 5-0 on Thurs., March 7, at their 7:00 p.m. game against Central Forsyth as they host at Cambridge Stadium.
