Rachel is a junior at Cambridge High School. She attended her freshman year at Milton High School, and sophomore year at Cambridge HS. Rachel was born in Birmingham, Alabama.

Rachel first started picking up the game of golf at the age of nine and played her first 18-hole tournament in the USKIDS World Championship at age 11. That experience was probably the kick-starter to her junior golf career because that was the first time she played with so many different friendly people from all over the world who were all so good! Immediately, she wanted to get better and improve so that she could keep up with the new friends she had just made. Her goal was to qualify for the then-coveted USKIDS World Cup Team the next year. In 2009 summer, Rachel made the US team; and helped US team win the 2009 USKIDS World Cup.

Ever since then, Rachel has won the Georgia State Girls' Championship twice back-to-back in 2011 and 2012 and has represented Georgia in many junior and women's team competitions. One of the highlights of her junior career was helping Georgia team win the 2011 USGA Women's State Team Championship and taking low-medalist honors, shooting her career-best, 5-under par 67.

In 2012, Rachel was a member of Milton High School golf team, who won GHSA AAAAA State Golf Championship. Rachel also won the tournament medalist honors.

Other honors include AJGA Gary Gilchrist Academy Junior All-Start Team (2010 and 2012), and AJGA Rolex Junior All-American Team Honorable Mention (2012).
