The Lady Bears Basketball teams swept cross-town Milton on opening night, November 15th with a 40-28 victory by our JV Bears followed up by a 50-25 victory by the Varsity girls.
After jumping out to a quick 11-3 lead in the 1st quarter the Varsity girls used a 29-9 second half to pull away from the Eagles. The Bears had 3 girls in double figures for points (Kennedy Daniels-11, Sayler Thomas-10, Audrey Smith-11) and 10 different players scored.
The Varsity Lady Bears will compete in the Tabo's Thanksgiving Tournament at Jefferson High School during the break and then both teams open region play at home Tuesday, November 28 vs Alpharetta.
