The Cambridge Lady Bears basketball team, which is coached by Lesley Broadwell and Pam Masinko, wrapped up its season Sunday, March 20, with a banquet at Ippolito's restaurant.

The team enjoyed its best season this year. The team also earned its first region tournament win since the school opened four years ago.

Both senior captains, Hailey Boutelle and Sabrina Powell, have the unique distinction of being the only two girls on the Lady Bears basketball team who will have played each of the first four years at Cambridge High School, making them true foundation pieces of a rapidly growing program.

Freshman Julia Powell, who has an overall GPA Of 100.83, was also honored as this year's scholar athlete.  The team's GPA is one of the highest among the Cambridge sports clubs.

Congratulations to all of this year's players for an outstanding season, and many thanks to Ippolito's for allowing us to host our event at its fine restaurant.
