CHS Honors Lady Bears Basketball Seniors-Feb. 5, 2013

Cambridge High School honored its first senior basketball players in the Cambridge Gym, Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Congratulations to these outstanding student athletes.

Robyn is pictured with her mother, Lynn Gordon,  Robert Gordon, and brother, Daniel.  Along with being a member of the basketball team, Robyn participates in Theatre as well as track and field.  In the future she would like to create her own Graphic Design T-shirt clothing line or go into the automotive field for design.  Her favorite basketball memories include hitting 3 threes in one game, getting to know this amazing team, and playing on a playground with her teammates before a game at White County.


Casey Moore

Casey is pictured with her parents Tara and Brett Moore.  She is the CLAWS program president, a leader of her youth group, National Honor Society President, a 2 time state champion in Soccer and a member of Cambridge Wind Symphony. Casey is also the first ever Homecoming Queen at Cambridge High School.   She plans on playing soccer in college and majoring in Medical Engineering.  Casey's favorite basketball memory is getting to spend her first and last basketball season with such amazing coaches and teammates.

Amelia is pictured with her parents, Julie & Brian Phillips, and her brother.  Amelia is Co-President of the French Club, member of National Honor Society, a CLAWS program mentor, and played varsity volleyball in addition to serving as co-captain of the basketball team.  She plans on attending the University of Georgia and majoring in International Business. Her favorite basketball memories include playing against Lakeside the second time around and seeing how much the girls improved as a team and rolling Hailey down a hill in a tire at White County High School.

 

Maddie is pictured with her parents, Dave and Peggy Steevens.  She serves as a CLAWS mentor at CHS and has played 3 years of varsity basketball.  Maddie will be attending San Diego State University in the fall.  Her favorite basketball memory this season was when the team went to White County High School 4 hours early and played on the playground.
