Congratulations to Sophomore Ali LoPiccolo, the Cambridge Athlete of the Week!

Ali LoPiccolo, a sophomore, has stepped up as a key leader and is off to an impressive start as part of the Cambridge girls varsity basketball team.

Ali has been averaging 10.7 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game.  She scored a season-high 24 points against Johnson High School on December 29th as the Lady Bears made history by recording the first victory for Cambridge girls' basketball.  The team has now won 3 of its last 4 games with the only loss coming in overtime. 

Coach Lesley Broadwell:  "Ali is going to be a great basketball player but what I like most about her is she is even a better person and teammate.  She is extremely coachable and I look forward to seeing how good she can be."
