On Monday, July 10th, Mayor Jamison and the Milton City Council gave a special proclamation to the Cambridge Track & Field team at city hall, recognizing the Varsity Boys and Girls Regional Championships.

"The Council next formally celebrated Cambridge High School's girls and boys track and field teams for their successes this past spring. This was the first time both teams won regional titles in the same year. On top of that, the Bears' girls finished second at states in the Georgia High School Association's AAAAA division with their highest ever point total, while the boys squad compiled their most points and placed sixth. In addition, Julia and Lilah Versluis won individual state titles."
