Bears Track and Field Wins Region Championship!
CAMBRIDGE BEARS CLAIM REGION TITLES - FOUR SCHOOL RECORDS SET

On April 25 and 26, the Cambridge track and field team went to Greater Atlanta Christian school to compete against six other teams. After two days of battle in event after event, the end result was that both the girls and the boys won their respective region titles.

With the top four finishers in each individual event and relays attaining the coveted next round trip to the state sectionals, the team will be well represented at Jefferson High School on Saturday, May 6, with a number of individuals and seven of eight relays advancing. The team met their first goal of region titles and now is working hard to advance past sectionals to state.

There were a number of school records established, noteworthy performances and personal records by the team. First, it was the first time that both the boys and girls won the region in the same year.
