The meet came down to the diving event for the girls. And lucky for them, the Bears have Brooklyn Petit and Lilah Versluis

Petit CRUSHED the school record set in 2016 by Maddie Chaloux of 427.30. No one came close to touching it until Petit today broke routine to try the 11-dive routine. With an average score of 8 for each of her dives, Petit easily sailed through her routine to replace the record and take the win for the girls. These two finishers put the girls team over the top to sweep the meet.

For the boys, Brandon Norfleet took second place to Riverwood's top diver, but had his best performance of the season with a score of 139.65.

The Bears will next face-off against Westminster on November 28th at Westminster. The meet will begin at 5:00 PM. Come cheer on your Bears as they take on the state champions from last year!
