Next week, Jan. 31-Feb. 4, the Bears will travel to Westminster and Georgia Tech in the culminating meet of the season: the State Championship. The Bears will carry a roster of 20 athletes with diverse abilities to hopefully amount to an exciting meet that will likely be decided by a handful of points. The girls team has earned the state runner-up trophy for two years in a row, and they are looking to take the state championship title back. They will have a tough road ahead, but they certainly have the talent to make it happen. The boys team is looking to have their highest finish in program history if the pieces align as they want them to.

Athletes are allowed a maximum of four events, and only two of them can be individual events. It will be an exciting meet and we are looking forward to some great performances and races!
