Cambridge Hosts County Line Cup and Notches More State Qualifiers

On Friday and Saturday, November 18-19, Cambridge hosted teams of North Fulton and Forsyth County in a county line showdown! The annual meet pits the two counties against each other in friendly competition, where the North Fulton teams compete together against the Forsyth teams. Forsyth took the trophy for the second year, with South Forsyth housing the trophy since they were the high scoring team from the Forsyth block, but Cambridge made good use of the competition and clutched some additional state cuts to set themselves up for a great remaining two months of competition before state championships. Many Cambridge swimmers took home ribbons for winning their heat, which made the day feel like a victory in many ways.

On Friday night, Lilah Versluis and Karsyn Warden competed for the Bears in the dive event. Lilah Versluis took third with a state qualifying score of 219.45. Karsyn Warden took 12th with a score of 175.20.
