Diving

On Friday, the divers took to the boards at Cumming Aquatic Center. The Bears had six divers: Emilija Ragaine, Brooklyn Petit, Addy Woods, Lilah Versluis, Karsyn Warden and Hana El-Gazairly. The meet had 35 divers so it was long and mentally taxing as the meet wore on. The girls persevered and at the end of the night Brooklyn Petit took second place, Addy Woods took third, Emilija Ragaine took fifth, Hana El-Gazairly took seventh, Lilah Versluis took 10th, and Karsyn Warden took 11th. El-Gazairly was returning from a broken hand injury and still managed to make her state qualification! That makes SIX state dive qualifiers for the Bears! We are so proud of our dive program!
