The Cambridge Varsity softball team had a great 8-0 region opener win over Riverwood, Monday, August 23rd!
Cambridge moves to 2-4 and 1-0 in region. Back at the Bear Cave on Tuesday, August 24th vs. region opponent River Ridge. 5:30pm first pitch.
Junior Grace Barrett had a day with a 5 inning shutout win, 6 strikeouts and added 3 hits and 4 RBIs.
Sophomore Kate Gordon added 2 hits, 2 runs, and 2 stolen bases. Sophomore Anna Hardee also scored twice.
