The Lady Bears softball team held their last home game of the season Thursday Sept 20th and went out in style!
The Bears honored the seniors Luci Allen, Haley Brown, Sydney Herbold, and Audrey Smith and celebrated with a 20-0 win in 3 innings. The game began with an outstanding performance with Haley Brown singing the National Anthem a cappella.
Sydney Herbold earned the win for the Bears pitching 3 innings giving up only 2 hits, 0 runs, and 4 strikeouts. Chooch Carroll led the hitting going 3-3 with 2 homeruns and 8 RBIs. Haley Brown, Audrey Smith, Sydney Herbold, Liz Seymour, and Nikki Tanguay all had multiple hits to help clinch the win.
The Lady Bears finish out their regular division play next week with away games on 9/25 at Johns Creek and 9/27 at Lambert.
