Boys Varsity Tennis Recap, Feb. 7-16, 2023
Feb 7 vs. Westminster was our first match of the season. Hard fought matches, but only line 2 Doubles got a win. Lost 1-4
Feb 10/11 traveled to Birmingham, AL. Friday vs. Vestavia Hills High School. This was a different format of matches: 3 lines of doubles, and 6 lines of singles. Excellent experience and competition for us! Won line 3 doubles and lines 5 & 6 singles. Our Saturday match vs. Mountain Brook HS was rained out.
Feb 14 was our first home match. Lost to Marist 2-3
Feb 16 vs. Johns Creek – Won 3-2
Next week will travel to Lambert and host Alpharetta..then start Region play Feb. 28th.
