Bryan Wallace teaches AP Economics and has served as the Boys’ Varsity Soccer Head Coach since the opening of Cambridge High School in 2012-2013.

In his seven years as the Cambridge coach, the Bears have compiled a record of 82-48-3.  After going 2-14 in their opening season the Bears have put together six straight winning seasons.  Additionally, they have qualified for the Georgia state soccer playoffs for five straight years, recording a post-season record of 11-5 in that span including two trips to the Elite Eight, one trip to the Final Four; and a state runner-up finish in 2018.  The Bears also earned a Region Runner-Up trophy in 2016 and a Region Championship in 2018 when they finished ranked #16 in the nation according to United Soccer Coaches and were one of two teams in Georgia to earn a prestigious team Academic All-American designation.

The Bears ongoing commitment to developing players and seeking out top-level competition has resulted in opportunities at the next level as many former players have gone on to play in colleges like University of South Carolina; Emory University; Rhodes College Gordon College; Oglethorpe University; & Methodist University.

Coach Wallace is a graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington but is originally from Chicago, Illinois.  He and his wife, Anne, have a daughter Evyn and a son Brennan.  Coach Wallace moved to Atlanta in 2004 and he spent his first seven years at Cross Keys High School teaching social studies and serving as the Boys’ Varsity Soccer coach and Athletic Director.  He also served in the same role at Arabia Mountain High School in DeKalb County for one year before joining the Cambridge staff.  Before coming to Cambridge, Coach Wallace compiled a 68-35-4 record in 8 years and made three appearances in the Georgia state playoffs, including advancing to the state semifinals in 2011.

Coach Wallace credits the rapid success of the Cambridge program to the tremendous talent and dedication of his athletes, the expertise and character of his coaching staff, and the unflagging support of his booster club and parents.  Coach Wallace is proud that the Bears Men’s Soccer program has become one of the premier soccer programs in the state of Georgia and looks forward to building upon the considerable success the program has achieved.

Coach Wallace was named the 2018 Region 7 6A Coach of the Year, and the DiVarsity Georgia 6A Coach of the Year in 2018 & 2019.
