Monday, April 8th – The Bears Boys Soccer team came back from Spring-Break to face an 8-5-3 Etowah at home.
Cambridge played well in the 1st half but lost focus and effort in the 2nd half. At the 19:20 mark in the 2nd half Etowah earned a PK which was blocked by Nic Sides, but 10 seconds later Etowah scored on a rebound and deflection; Etowah 1-0.
The match was back and forth for the balance of the match, however Etowah found the back of the net at the 11:36 mark in the 2nd half; Etowah 2-0 and that is how the match ended.
Next up for Cambridge is a top ranked Clarkston High School on Wednesday, April 10th.
