Cambridge Varsity Boys Soccer entered the Darby 4-2 on the season and with a Senior Class having won 2 of the last three matches and the other (2016) ended in a draw.
The match began with both teams probing the others defense to find a weakness and then off a counter attach Milton found the back of the net at the 22:22 mark of the 1st half and the score held until halftime.
The second half opened with Cambridge taking control play and possession and then at the 24:55 mark, off a set piece, Jack Tindle scored off an assist from Ethan Rose, which knotted the match at 1-1. Cambridge continued to control play and then, off another set piece, Trey Rielly found the back of the net off an assist from Ethan Rose, Cambridge 2-1.
Cambridge earned the result and improved to 5-2 on the year.
Next up is a tough Chattahoochee squad which will be Cambridge's first region play of the season. Chattahoochee comes in 5-1 on the season and 1-0 in Region 7 AAAAAA play.
