Cambridge Boys Varsity Soccer Defeats Two-Time State Champs, Benedictine Military School

The Bears Varsity Boys soccer team played Benedictine Military School, back to back GA State champions, on Saturday afternoon, February 16th in Savannah. 

The Bears controlled the match from the start but did not find the back of the net until 6:04 in the first half when Carter Johnson scored from an assist from Jack Tindle

Cambridge opened the scoring in the 2nd half when Lucas Pegorer scored at the 32:34 mark, then Jack Tindle scored at the 29:43 from an assist from Ben Barfield, Cambridge 3-0.  The Bears final score came at 7:59 when Erik Holmen scored from an assist from Nico Restrepo

With the result the Bears improve to 4-1 on the season and head back to Cambridge to play undefeated and top ranked Sprayberry on Tuesday night, Feb. 26th.
