Bears JV Boys Soccer Now 7-1 on the Season After 4 Straight Wins

The Cambridge JV Boys' Soccer team has completed two-thirds of its season having played 8 matches thus far. The team has played very well accruing a record of 7-1 against region and rival schools.

In three of our last four matches we have held our opponents scoreless. Overall we have outscored our opponents 19 goals scored to 6 goals allowed. Our lone loss came at Pope in a very close and competitive 1-2 final score.

Offensive standouts for the team have been Carter Johnson with 5 goals and 4 assists, Christian Guzman with 5 goals and 2 assists, Gonzalo Morales with 3 goals and 2 assists, Aldo Coronado with 3 goals and Juan Elam with 2 goals and an assist. Our midfield play has been anchored by Jeffrey Rael, Erik Holmen, Chris Mueller, Luke Highlander, Marcus Franco and Oscar Perez-Gomez.

Defensive standouts have been Ainsley Shan, Andrew Maiorino, Luke Isler, Santiago Tovar, Matthew Young and goalkeepers Daniel Schmidt and Will Stewart.

We hope to finish the season strong against some of our best competition at region rivals Johns Creek, Chattahoochee and North Atlanta.
