Friday February 9, 2018 – Roswell High School, last year's #4 ranked AAAAAAA team, visited Cambridge and provided quite the challenge for the Bears.
A well-coached and talented Roswell soccer team pushed the Bears throughout the match. The Bears generally controlled the match but found it difficult to penetrate Roswell's strong and experienced defense.
The Bears opened the scoring early in the match and then the teams settled in with good defense and back and forth play until Roswell countered and scored an equalizer late in the 1st half. The 2nd half was controlled by Cambridge but the Bears did not finish in the final third until the 25th minute when Reece Degan found the back of the net for the second time in the match.
The final result of 2-1 improves the Bears record this year to 2-0 and improves our series record against Roswell to 2-0.
