Cambridge Boys Soccer Opens Season with 3-1 Win over Mill Creek, Monday, Feb. 5th

The Bears Boy's Soccer team started the season with a 3-1 win over a good 7A Mill Creek team on the road last Monday night, February 5th.

Scoring was led off by Omar Dhrif when he picked up the ball in the box and found the net for his first goal of the season. Reece Degan then made it 2-0 with a hard laser to the upper 90 from 25 yards out. Ethan Rose gave the Bears all they needed with a PK after John Crawley was fouled in the box.

Coach Wallace was extremely pleased with the back line and mid field as the team played a man down for the entire game after a red card was issued in the first 10 minutes of the game. "When we went down a man that early it really put a lot of pressure on our defenders.  Ethan, Sid, JT, Harrison, Ben and Trey really stepped up and shut down a good Mill Creek offense." said Wallace.  "I was extremely pleased with our pace of play and urgency throughout the entire night, It was a good start to a long season".
