Varsity Boys Soccer Starts off Region Play with Win Over Pope, Tuesday, February 28th

The Bears Boy's Soccer Team won their first Region game in a 2-0 shutout over Pope Tuesday night.  It was the first shut out and first Region game of the season.  Goals were scored by Jabar Obeid in the first half and Lucas LoPiccolo in the second.  Lucas had a goal off a nice corner kick by Ethan Rose.  

Coach Wallace summarized by saying the attacking and wingers were tremendous, while he was extremely proud of the defense. 

Cambridge is currently ranked 6th in the state with a 4-1 record.  They play 8th place Centennial this Friday night, March 3rd at Centennial 8:00pm.  Centennial's record is 5-2 and they won their first region game Tuesday night as well.
